The leader and founder of the New Seraph Fellowship of the C&S Church, Iya Aladura General Dr. Mrs. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye has called on Nigerians to be patient with the present government, saying the country is not in a hopeless situation.

She made the call on Tuesday while fielding questions from Journalists on the occasion of the 2023 edition of the annual Night of Divine Experience tagged NODE 5.

The woman of God in her reaction to a question about how Nigerians should be advised on how to react and adjust to the current economic hardship told Nigerians to be patient, that the current hardship was not exclusive to Nigerians alone but other countries of the world.

According to her, “it would take a while to get out of the current impasse and it would require the patience and understanding, but there is hope with the way the president is tackling the problem, Nigeria is not in a hopeless situation.

“We need to support that hope to make it happen. We need to be patient, persevere and think outside the box. Ask yourself, what am I doing now that is not bringing me any values? How do I do it better? It is a time to be realistic about the situation. Do not be troubled over what you don’t need, to survive. Just be concerned about what you need.”

She advised Nigerians to do what they could afford without plunging themselves into any financial crisis, “reduce your expenses as much as possible to the barest minimum. Let us make some adjustments. Everywhere there is a global meltdown. It’s all over in Ghana, UK, Turkey, many of the countries are no go areas as of now. Nigeria is not an exception. All I can advise Nigerians to do is to give the government a support and the gains of what the president is doing now will come gradually.”
