Vicinity Radio broadcasting on Frequency Modulation Band 95.3 FM has gone on live broadcast on Social Media handle of Facebook.
This was announced today by the General Manager Winston Akpabio in a brief chat with PTL News.
The broadcast monitored by PTL News featured some of the programmes to be expected by the excited and hopeful listeners scattered across over five states of the nation.
It is explained that the new development would allow lovers of Vicinity FM to enjoy the programmes from different parts of the world while they can easily interact with their beloved presenters.
Some of the programmes monitored included News broadcast, Greetings in Ijesa dialect, music presentations and chit chats as they also welcomed responses from their listeners.
As the Station is fully getting prepared for full transmission, Dr. Phillips Abiodun Badewa, speaking from his US base assured listeners and advertisers to watch out for various programmes that would be released to meet their listening enjoyment and marketing expectations.
Other programmes to be expected include dawn to dusk programmes like News and Newspapers Reviews, in English and Yoruba, Sports News and Analysis, Chit Chats and Talk Shows, Greetings in Ijesaland, Request programmes, Political Forum, Agric Shows, Education Today, Audience Participation Programmes, Business and Economy, Men and Women’s Programmes, Religious Programmes for Christians and Muslims, Health Talk and Medical Consults on Air, and many others.
“Vicinity 95.3FM is fully loaded with news, information, education and entertainment. There is something for everyone, and we are all stakeholders,” explained Dr. Badewa, as he assured that within a space of days, the Station would begin full transmission, and the studio programmes will also be relayed on other handles like YouTube and Instagram and TikTok.
