Every November 11, is a date with history at Christ Disciples Bible Church with the headquarters at Ketu, in Lagos. It is what is specially tagged the Founder’s Ministerial Calling Day. That was the day of the submission, acceptance of Christ with the gift of ministerial calling of the General Overseer, Rev. Dr. Zachariah Ademola Olumolawa. It is therefore a day for real celebration by both ministers and members of the Church.

For this year, the event would be marked with a 24-hour celebration of praise, sharing of the word, miracle and thanksgiving service. The service begins at 6.00 am on Wednesday November 11, and will be rounded of at 6.00 pm the following morning of Thurdsay 12th November, 2020, with special gospel artistes like Rev. Sola Iyinyemi, Aduke Gold, Opeyemi Oduntan, Peter Oyetunji, Omidayo Ayanfe, Izzy Sax and Gbenga Tosin as guests.

Speaking on his 50 years of his divine call, Rev. Olumolawa recalled how he accepted Christ way back to 1970 at a crusade.

“It is a day I cannot forget in my life. I was living somewhere in Oke Koto in Agege also in Lagos. There was a revival in a primary school in the area. That day the man of God that ministered was Rev. J.A. Dada. When he made the altar call that whoever wanted to give his life to Jesus I was the first person to come out, running with tears believing this is what I have been thirsting for.

“I had an exam that day I was sitting for typewriting in RSA Exams around Igbobi. On the third day after the event, I heard the voice of the Lord, at the front of this same Igbobi Orthopedic Hospital. The voice said I was called to do the work of the Lord. I had not heard such a voice before. That was the first time. The voice continued. I did not know what to do again. When I got home I went to tell the revivalist.

“My intention was to either be a stenographer or a journalist.  But the man of God said I had to leave everything I was doing and I began ministerial training.

“I thank God for many reasons because I neither deviated nor turned back. We were about 25 members in training that time. Out of us many had turned back, many had deviated and God gas always been with me proving His calling upon my life.”

There have been many miracles in the life and ministry of the Ogun State born minister. Rev. Olumolawa was born in Igele in Ado Odo/Ota Local Government of Ogun State.

He has been used to bless many people including families, settle family problems and in the area of the gift of the gift of the fruit of the womb. Rev. Olumolawa himself was so blessed after his 25th marriage anniversary.

Church members, family, friends and fellow ministers of God are expected to be part of the event.
