Going by a release via T B Joshua Ministries, the official Facebook of the Church, Mrs Evelyn Joshua would be replacing her husband as the Senior Pastor and Minister in Charge of the Church.

According to the post on Saturday September 11, 2021, “It is now God’s appointed time, to the glory of God, for The SCOAN to soldier on with the divine assignment under the guidance of God and the human leadership of Mrs. Evelyn Joshua.

We urge you all to join us in prayers as we wish her God’s guidance and divine wisdom in her new God ordained role.

The statement read in full:

“IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Good Morning. We thank you for all your prayers and your love for the ministry since the glorious home call of our dear father, servant of the Most High God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. We thank you for keeping the faith. It is now God’s appointed time, to the glory of God, for The SCOAN to soldier on with the divine assignment under the guidance of God and the human leadership of Mrs. Evelyn Joshua. We urge you all to join us in prayers as we wish her God’s guidance and divine wisdom in her new God ordained role. Mrs. Evelyn Joshua will shortly address the teeming members of The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV Partners who have waited so long for this new phase in the Great Commission.”

Meanwhile, the Federal High Court has approved the appointment of the wife of the late Prophet Temitope Joshua, Mrs Evelyn Joshua, as a trustee of the Synagogue Church of All Nations.

According to a statement by the church, Justice Tijjani Ringim gave the judgment on Thursday at the Lagos Judicial Division of the High Court in Ikoyi.

The appointment was said to be in line with the church’s constitution which prescribed a minimum of three trustees for the church.

The statement reads partly, “This was contained in a petition brought by concerned and committed members of the church, represented by Mr. Kola Kareem and Mrs Moji Oguntoyinbo,  against the Incorporated Trustees of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, the Corporate Affairs Commission,  and Mrs. Evelyn Onyisi Joshua in a Suit No: FHC/L/CP/1109/2021.

“The petitioners were represented by Emeka Ekweozor, Chris Eme and E. G. Onyejekwulum.

“Ossazu Owie represented first and second respondents, while O. N. Chukwu appeared for the CAC.

“The respondents through their counsel told the court they were not opposed to the petition made under Section 839(6)(B) of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020 (as Amended).”

The statement added that the church “has been in a limbo since the passing of the man of God, Senior Prophet TB Joshua over the leadership succession in the church.”

It is expected that the Church would be open for regular services soon.

Mrs Joshua’s appointment has been applauded by members from different parts of the world where the impact and ministries of late Prophet T .B. Joshua has touched.

“Glory to Jesus we have been eagerly waiting to hear what God will say about our family SCOAN. Behind our Father there were you from the beginning, our Mother. May the good God continue to lead SCOAN. We can’t wait to hear the teachings and deliverence at SCOAN. We love you Mother of Nations you can do all things through Christ Jesus,” says Ntsako Precious Mabasa, from Uganda, as Jumoke Oluwaniyi, congratulating her said, “By His grace all things are possible, Mama Evelyn God is on your side, the best is yet to come.”
