The death of Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, the Senior Pastor and Founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nations has been confirmed. The death which came as a rumour in the wee hours of Sunday 6th June, 2021 was later confirmed through his social media handle @Prophet T.B.Joshua

He was said to have died on Saturday shortly after conducting a live broadcast, but the cause of his death has not been made public.

He was in control of millions of his church members drawn from all parts of the world with thousands attending his services, with top politicians, business men and women, sportsmen and women from across Africa and all parts of the world.

He was one pastor who actually reached out to poor people and always tried to help them.

He was also the founder of a Christian television station Emmanuel TV and he was very popular in Africa, the US, the UK and South America. In 2014, one of his churches collapsed, killing at least 116 people, including many South Africans. He would be remembered for his good works.

Aged 57, he was supposed to celebrate his 58th birthday on June 12, 2021. He had earlier announced a low key celebration taking into cognizance the prevailing situation across the world, he told his followers to dedicate the day for fasting and prayer of intercession for him,his ministry, and the world at large.

Meanwhile, tributes have been pouring in from the low and the high in the society.
