Prophet Joseph Jegede, the General Overseer of Dynamic Faith Bible Church has concluded the annual Faith Convention of his church.
The convention which started on Wednesday March 1, 2023 was rounded off with a special thanksgiving service on Sunday March 5, 2023.
The convention which had God Our Merciful Father attracted different men and women of God from far and wide. Among these were Rev.Dr. Festus Odeyemi, Prophet Adekotujo, Dr. SMO Oni who preached the sermon of the day, Prophet Oluwamuyiwa and a host of others.
The host minister, Prophet Jegede expressed his appreciation to God for making the convention a success despite what the nation was going through with lack of cash and fuel to move around.
“It is only the people that love you that can attend your programme in a time like this, that is why my appreciation goes to God and all the people, fathers and mothers in the Lord, colleagues and friends in the ministry as well as our spiritual children and members of our church.”
Earlier, the Convention had featured the likes of Prophet Adeniyi Olowoporoku of the Love of Christ Ministry in a three day vigil. Prophet Olowoporoku was at the Friday vigil and he ministered the word of God to the members. “He was a blessing to all of us,” confirmed Prophet Jegede.
On Sunday Dr. SMO Oni was the guest preacher. He preached on Book of Remembrance as he admonished the congregation to be mindful of what they do in the presence of God as all deeds are well documented in a book, and in due season it shall be opened for reckoning.
“All you are doing are being written” noting that there are different categories of people that are remembered by God in the bible. These were those who stood for Him like Joshua and Caleb, those who had covenant with him, those who believe in the prophetic words, those that live in love and those that remember the needy.
“Other categories of beneficiary of books of remembrance by God were those who persisted in prayers and all those who sacrificed before God” quoting relevant texts of the bible.
The convention service was also used to dedicate a musical work titled Saanu Fun Mi (Show Me Mercy) presented by Prophet Jegede.
In a chat with PTL News, Prophet Jegede explained that as a minister of God he was also given the gift of composition and ministration in songs.
“It is part of my ways of appreciating God for all He has done for me especially in the ministry.
“I thank God for what mercy did for me. I have had no cause to regret my coming to the ministry for one day. This is my 5th album. Fact is that I don’t commercialise my music, I only use it to appreciate God in revival, church service and programmes, and not for party or any social functions.”
On his remarks on the convention, Prophet Jegede thanked God for making the programme great.
“God’s mercy is very great and He has shown it to us in not small measures. God of mercy has worked. In a time like this to see people come in large number is by the mercy of God, and my message to the people on this occasion is never to lose hope in God. What God will do He will do for whoever receives His mercy.”
He took the advantage to caution ministers of God who are saying different things in the name of God on the state of the nation particularly on the general election.
“I want our ministers of God especially the prophets to know that wise people check what they say in the public. Whatever the prophets see they should pray to God to change the situation and provide the needed solution. They should not do what can put the name of God into disrepute through them. As ministers of God our own is to pray.
“As far as I am concerned, all I know is that there is mercy for this country whatever the enemies within or from outside could be doing. My advice to fellow ministers of God and all Nigerians is always to speak well about Nigeria. I am confident that the God of our fathers will visit this country and it would not be long in Jesus name.”
At the service were the Church Matron, and Mother of the day, Mrs Ojomo, Pastor Mrs. Victor from Love of Christ Chapel, Barrister Prophetess Yinka Harrison of C&S Glory Arena, Pastor Sunday Oyeyipo, Apostle Emmanuel, Rev. Olu Samuel, Prophet Adeyemo and Mama Aroge among others.
