The annual Harvest thanksgiving service of Spring Apostolic Church might have come and gone, but it is not likely the presence of Alayeluwa Oba Olabode Victor Taiwo Thomas-Fagbayi (AdeyomboII) the Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu, in Awori Kingdom of Ogun State would be forgotten in a hurry.
He was specially invited as the Royal Father of the day, and a special guest of honour. But in all indications he proved to be a special kind of an African traditional ruler, http://ptlnewsng.com.ng/one-on-one-with-oba-rev-matthew-sunday-akindele-olu-of-owodeyewaland-says-i-have-no-regret-for-being-a-traditional-ruler-and-a-pastor/ a man in the order of King David, the man the bible described as the apple of God’s eyes.
He was a guest and he must have been visiting the Church for the first time. When he was introduced to give his own remarks, he proved there was no special guest before God and he was an unrepentant child of God. He did not come alone but with the retinue of his chiefs male and female. His remarks turned out to be a living testimony, prayer request and thanksgiving for the man that loved God.

He opened up, “Church is my father’s house. I love the atmosphere here. There is nothing better than being in the presence of God to show our gratitude to Him,” and this he did with all sincerity.”
He continued, “I thank God for this special privilege. I thank God for me to meet one of the people He uses in the land of Tipo. Anytime I see anybody working seriously for God I always like to be closer to that person. When I saw you (Prophetess Adeuja), I said my town is blessed for having you around. From that moment I fell in love with the Church and I made it mandatory for me and my chiefs to be here today, not casually but officially. It is a way to present myself before my God.

“From what I have seen here, I want this kind of a thing, it must happen in Tipoland. My covenant with God is to take the land of Tipo for Christ and I believe one of those to be used by God is you.
“I used seven day for Night of Praise for my anniversary. You wouldn’t have missed it if we had met before then. I love serving God. We want Arambada Praise in Tipoland. God, the King of kings is the One that puts kings on the throne. He is the King of kings.”
The traditional ruler went further to relay his experience in the previous night saying only God made it possible for him to make the event.
He said, “Something happened to me over the night. Already, there was a plan for me to come here. I am supposed to be in Ilaro with a Senator or in Ota with another traditional ruler. There is another programme going on in Ota. I’ll rather missed those ones than missing this. I would be very stupid to neglect this one to going to worship lesser gods. My own Ifa is Jesus Christ.
Something happened this morning and I am here to report to Jesus. When I want to report to Jesus I always give Him thanks.
“For me I can stand openly anywhere to say this, or else if I join any other fetish thing with the name of Jesus. I have no other thing beside Jesus. If you love me I want you to join me to thank God for me.
If it was not by the mercy and the plan of God, I would not have been here.
Oba Olabode then did away with the parapenalia of office, kept his staff with one of his aides and started by prostrating before God on the altar and continued to roll before God. It was an awesome experience.
The men of God also joined the traditional ruler to thank God and led prayers for him.
