Nigerians, young and old have been advised on how to position themselves for higher places in the journey of life.

This advice was dropped by Pastor Joe Jacobs, the Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Amuwo Odofin DCC at a Life Improvement Conference organised by Pastor Benjamin Babalola Alegbeleye of CAC Adaloko District.

Pastor Joe Jacobs who was speaking on a motivational topic Positioning Yourself For Relevance in Higher Places said there were always classes in every facet of life, in all human endeavours and in all generations as he stated what it would take to get one at a desired level in human aspirations.

According to him, “There are classes in every facet of life, in all human endeavours and in all generations.

“In all human settlements, we will always see people at a low level, lower level, lower~lower level, high level, higher level, higher~higher level, Upper level, Upper~upper level, Super level, super~super level, national level, International level, Intercontinental level, global level, and so on and so forth.”

Drawing inspiration from the scripture the former Youth Officer of CAC Worldwide quoted 1Corinthians 15.41 which says “There is one glory of the sun, and another glory for moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs from another star in glory.”

He therefore drew the attention of the congregation to some battles of life one needs to fight to succeed. These according to him are pre~birth and post ~birth battles. These he simplified as “battles for survival, battles to reign, battles to reign well and meet God’s expectations and battles to reign long and fulfil purpose.”

Using the example of Joseph of the bible as his illustration the cleric charged the congregation to always get themselves prepared for opportunities as God has His appointed time for every global star to train and to shine”, adding that “The period of waiting, most of the time is designed for all inclusive preparation, to move one from a certain level to where God has ordained.”

He therefore advised that we must endeavour to make ourselves readily available for God’s use at all times.

“Ability is good, but availability is still better. When you are able and available for God’s use, you are on your way to the top.”

In the same vein, the convener, Pastor Ben Alegbeleye had earlier admonished the participants to learn to build bridges to bigger opportunities.

Speaking on the theme of the conference, Set For The Throne, Pastor Alegbeleye agreeing with Pastor Joe~Jacob’s postulation that there are different levels of human endeavour said, “If your gut is telling you that where you are is not good enough, go where you are appreciated and valued,” noting that there is a palace, throne and there are kings in every industry.

In attendance at the conference were many men and women of God, Pastors and Pastors’ wives, Church workers and youths, members and non~members of Christ Apostolic Church.
