The authority of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas has appointed Pastor Agboola Gabriel Olatunji as the new Coordinator of CAC Theological Seminary, Ile-Ife, Lagos Campus.
Pastor Agboola will succeed Pastor Ayo Olaniyi who will now move to Ile Ife as the Provost of the Seminary having been appointed by the church authority.
Pastor Agboola was born in Ibadan, at Akinyele Local Government Area, Oyo State on the 31st of July, 1975. He lived and grew up in Ibadan but relocated to Lagos in 1991.
Pastor Agboola holds Diploma in Theology at CACTS from 2006 to 2009, B.A. from Lagos State University (LASU) from 2011 to 2016, M.A. from same university from 2017 to 2018, Diploma in Religious Studies, Ruhr University Bochum Germany from 2019 to 2020, M.A. in Religious Studies Ruhr University Bochum, Germany from 2020 to 2022 and PhD in view.
He received the calling of God at CAC Igi-Olugbin, Bariga Zonal Headquarters, Bariga, Lagos. While at CAC Igi-Olugbin, Pastor Agboola was a Sunday school teacher, an active and executive member of the Youth Fellowship (Bible Study Leader) and also the Assistant Coordinator of Evangelical team of the church. He also single-handedly handled the ‘Holiness Class’ for teenagers- a weekend bible study class to groom young and upcoming teenagers in the word of God.
In the quest to further his education, he travelled to Germany for Post Graduate Study in 2019 where he obtained Diploma and Masters in Religious Studies. In 2019, he was appointed as the Mission Pastor of CAC Germany. In 2020, he was posted to Christ Apostolic Church Sankt Augutin, Siege Bug/Böln , Germany.
He was a former College Chaplain, Lecturer and pre-certificate Instructor between 2010 and 2018 at CACTS Lagos campus. Not only that he served in various capacities, he is currently a Lecturer at CACTS Lagos campus and Associate Pastor at CAC Glory Land Assembly, Lagos.
Meanwhile, the new Coordinator has been receiving accolades and good will messages from friends, colleagues and well-wishers describing the appointment as a well-deserved one.
“I am most grateful for what God has done and what He will never cease to do! No time to begin to say the story but just have this in mind nothing is impossible,” wrote Michael-Light Temitope Olajide, who described the new coordinator asa man of vision and determination, humble, easy going, disciplined, ready to learn and ready to deposit knowledge into others,” adding that Pastor Agboola Olatunji has been an impact to many ministers.
“He is also a great father always wanting the success of others,” he submitted.
