The annual gathering and international prayer revival of the New Seraph Ministry tagged Night of Divine Experience code named NODE under the Leadership of Her Grace Iya Aladura General, Dr. Mrs. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye JP has come and gone, but there are all indications that the effects would continue to be a reference point for a long time to come.
For five years it is one event that is used to bring together lovers of God across various faiths and Church denominations to thank God as well as lift up Nigeria and other countries of the world in prayers.
At this year’s event held between Monday August 13 and 18,, 2023, it was one programme that fervent prayers were devoted to Nigeria as well other countries of the world.
The grand finale came up on Fridat 18th August 2023 when the prayer segment was led by the Lagos State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria – Bishop S.T.V Adegbite JP, who led a congregation of over 500,000 attendees to pray for the peace and progress of Nigeria, asking for the divine will and wisdom for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration.
Bishop Adegbite prayed for wisdom for those in authority, the security agencies, youths, education and other sectors and asked God to restore the country’s glory with His Divine Blessings, as he declared peace throughout the length and breadth of the Nation.
The cleric noted that the Prayer was to further uphold the power of God’s greatness in Nigeria, and it was put in place to seek God’s intervention in the nation’s affairs. He added that the newly sworn-in ministers would need God’s divine directive in directing the affairs of all ministries, parastatals and agencies in the administration.
Commending The New Seraph for always coming through with innovations and commendable programmes, the Lagos state CAN Chairman appreciated the Founder of The New Seraph, Her Grace Iya Aladura General Dr. O. Yomi-Sholoye who is also a patron of Lagos CAN, and prayed that the Lord shall continue to sustain her and the Ministry.
Speaking in a remark immediately after the Prayer, the Iya Aladura General reiterated that The New Seraph will continue to pray for the peace, unity, progress and prosperity of Nigeria.
She said, “We want Nigeria to progress as one entity, not as a dismembered nation and we know that aside hard work and efforts, there is more”.

Quoting Psalm 127 she added, “Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. This is why we saw the need to gather as a people to cry to God for mercy over the affairs of Nigeria and that is what we have just done.
“It is our prayer that God Almighty crowns the efforts of this administration, so Nigeria can be great again,” she said.
The Night of Divine Experience which had GO YE as the theme is the 5th in the series. It had in attendance many leaders, Spiritual Fathers and Mothers from all Blocs of C&S Church and other Church denominations, Government Functionaries, Royal Fathers, and their wives, and their Chiefs.
At the grand finale the Iya Adura also led in various prayers of divine intervention, blessings and breakthroughs, healing and deliverance as well as making altar call to win souls for Christ. She said the main crux of the gathering was to win souls for the Lord in an atmosphere of praise and jubilation in divine victory.
Among the list of eminent Ministers of God at the Night of Divine Experience were Prophet Moses Orogojimo who was the preacher for the day, Prophet Labade Moses, Pastor Damilola Karounwi, Pastor Tosin Faremi, Revd James Akinadewo, as well as top gospel music ministers like EWA Kristi, Evang. Esther Igbekele, Israel Classic, and Evang. Lekan Remilekun Amos. Also in attendance were leaders within the New Seraph family including Primate Luke O. Babasanya JP, Supt Gen. Ap. I.A. Adekunle JP to mention but a few.
Night of Divine Experience is an Annual Prayer programme organized by The New Seraph with a view to winning souls for Christ and Praying for the Nation. Since it started in 2018, it has continued to be of immense physical and spiritual blessings to its adherents who are members and non-members of The New Seraph. Participants attend from different parts of Nigeria.
For this year’s edition, the chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Prophet Michael Shodimu Dubi, expressed his appreciation to God for making it possible and for the success of the programme despite the biting state of the country’s economy as he expressed the hope that all the participants would come back next year to give jaw breaking testimonies of what the Lord did for them at the annual prayer programme.
