Dr. Yomi-Sholoye Speaks on NODE, and the State of the Nation
Nothing less than 300,000 worshippers are expected to gather at the New Seraph’s Prayer City, Sapade, Ogun State as the group holds the 6th edition of their annual Night of Divine Experience.
The Night of Divine experience holds at The New Seraph Prayer City – Km 60, Lagos/Ibadan Express Way, By Sapade Overhead Bridge, Ode Remo, Ogun State between Wednesday, 14th and Friday 16th August, 2024.
Speaking at the Press Conference to announce the programme, and the preparation and what to expect at the annual prayer and worship feast, the visioner, host minister and the leader of The New Seraph, Iya Aladura General Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye explained that “NODE 6.0 will feature Prayers, Seminars and Impactful sessions, morning, afternoon till evening and all night, and there will also be a power packed Musical Night for Singers, Bands and Choirs on Thursday, 15th August, 2024.”
The New Seraph leader also explained that there shall be avenue for Prayers and Counselling, and “anyone who desires to have Guidance in Prayer can visit for hourly prayers as anchored by various arms and units of The New Seraph – TNS Prayer Warriors, TNS Aronites, etc.”
Precautionary Measures
Dr. Yomi-Sholoye explained further that all precautionary measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of the worshippers and participants, stressing, “Having in mind that we are converging in such magnitude, we have put into serious consideration, precautionary measures in line with the government directives for safety of all attendees.”
The programme will be rounded off with the grand finale on Friday 16th August, 2024, from 6.00PM till dawn when it would kick off with the Youth Hour.
NODE 6.0 has GOOD NEWS, taken from the book of Isaiah 61:1 as the theme, and all preparations have been made to have a very smooth and highly spiritually fulfilling gathering.
Guest Ministers
“On our lineup are Ministers for Songs, Prayers, and Prophetic Discharge as follows; Prophet Sam Ojo Authority, Bishop S.T.V Adegbite JP, Chairman of CAN in Lagos State and the Secretary to the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Board, Rev. Sam Ogedengbe, Pastor Mrs. Ebunoluwa Seyi Bakare JP, Pro. Micheal Fakinle, Rev. Dr. James Akinadewo, as the praise and worship sessions will be led by the likes of Evang. Dr. Bola Are, Laolu Gbenjo, Funmi Ewa Kristi, Evang. Segun Omo Alafin, The New Seraph Mass Choir, and a host of other anointed Ministers of God,” explained the cleric.
Transportation
On transportation, the host minister promised free transportation for all that would be coming from Lagos and Ogun States , and other parts of Nigeria.
“As a way of ensuring that many people across board partake in God’s goodness through this year’s Night of Divine Experience, we have made provisions for over 200 BRT Buses across Lagos State and Thousands of Buses for Interstate Transit, all for free. These buses are to convey attendees to and from the vigil venue. Once the Bus List is published, attendees are advised to locate any nearby Bus assigned to their locations.”
Livestreaming
There are also provisions for all those that want to watch live from the diaspora.
She explained, “As massive as the gathering will be, let me inform you that due provision has been made for Believers across the globe to also connect and stream the programme LIVE via The New Seraph Facebook page, YouTube Channel or via any of the designated Seraph Platforms.”
State of The Nation
On the state of the nation, the Iya Aladura General called on Nigerians never to stop praying for Nigeria as she advised the government on what to do to earn the confidence and trust of the masses.
According to her, “In a time like this, when our Nation – Nigeria is going through a whole lot of uncertainties, I will urge us all to let’s join hands together in raising God’s Call for everyone of us to start getting it right; let’s begin to live aright, and move closer to Him regardless. It’s a sincere call to unity and action.
“As much as we all know, we are at a critical juncture in our nation’s history, the cries of the protesters echo through our streets, the weight of economic hardship presses upon us, and the fabric of our society seems to be fraying. Yet, even in the midst of turmoil, we find hope.
“As a Christian ministry clergy, I stand before you today to appeal to our shared humanity, our collective values, and our commitment to a better Nigeria. Let’s pray ceaselessly for our dear country as the Bible recorded, “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” -James 5:16
“To the citizens of Nigeria, I urge you to remain calm, yet vigilant. Let us work together to build a nation where everyone has access to basic necessities like food, shelter, healthcare, and education. Let us support one another in these challenging times, and let us continually pray for our leaders that the Good Lord will lead our leaders’ right. “
Specifically, Dr. Yomi-Sholoye who doubles as a cleric and business magnate advised the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on what to do for the Nigerian people.
She emphasized, “Mr. President, I humbly appeal to you to address the pressing issues that have led to this moment: – Reduce the cost of living and address inflation, Provide affordable fuel and electricity, Create jobs and opportunities for the youth, Ensure accountability and transparency in governance, and Protect the rights and freedoms of all citizens.
“To our leaders, I say: lead with empathy, compassion, and wisdom. Remember that leadership is a sacred trust, and with it comes the responsibility to serve and uplift all Nigerians.
Concluding, the Woman of God called on fellow Christians, as she said “As Christians, we are called to be peacemakers, to seek justice, and to love our neighbours as ourselves. Let us embody these values in our words and actions.
“Let us work together to build a Nigeria where justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream, a Nigeria where everyone thrives, where everyone has access to opportunities, and where everyone can live with dignity.”
The Night of Divine Experience holds on Friday, 16th August, 2024, starting from 6.00pm till dawn.
