The New Seraph Leader, Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye has called for more prayers for Nigeria so that the nation could experience a harvest of good news which is the theme of this year’s annual gathering of the ministry tagged Night of Divine Experience.
Dr. Yomi-Sholoye who is also the Iya Aladura General of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church made this call in her ministerial charge during the recently concluded annual convocation held on at New Seraph Prayer City, Sapade, Of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, in Ogun State.
The New Seraph leader also called for a little more patience with prayers, assuring that the situation of Nigeria would surely give the good news which Nigerians have been clamouring and yearning for.
The woman of God also led in prayers of intercession for God to correct all the anomalies confronting the government and the people of Nigeria in the area of security, high cost of living, fuel scarcity, joblessness and inadequate opportunities for the youths in the land, amongst many others.
Dr. Yomi-Sholoye who likewise raised special prayers for the Nigerian president Bola Ahmed Tinubu urged everyone to join hands in prayers for the leaders of the land just as the Bible teaches, as she equally charged the leaders to lead with empathy, compassion and wisdom through the Holy Spirit, having the poor and the less privileged in mind in their governance.
She reaffirmed that as The New Seraph, the congregation would not stop supporting the government in power with fervent prayers at all times.
The Night of Divine Experience is an annual gathering of members and non-members of The New Seraph Ministries, for the purpose of soul winning where participants worship God, listen to the word of God and offer prayers to God for themselves and their loved ones as well as for the governments in Nigeria, and at world level.
This year’s edition tagged NODE 6.0 had in attendance many ministers of God across the nation as well as members from all parts and outside Nigeria. Among the participants at the night that attracted a mammoth crowd of participants were the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria in Lagos State who is also the Secretary of Nigeria’s Christian Pilgrims’ Commission, Bishop STV Adegbite, the former Special Adviser of the Governor of Lagos State on Christian Matters, Rev. Dr. Sam Ogedengbe, and others like Prophet Sam Ojo, Prophet Moses Orogojimo, Prophet Labade Moses, Pastor Seyi Bakare, Prophetess Adebola Ayeni, Pastor Loveth Aligbe JP, Revd James Akinadewo, and Lady Pro. Dr. Funmi Arojah Owolabi JP.
The night was also spiced up with the presence of the living icon of Nigeria’s gospel music, Dr. Bola Are, and others like Ewa Kristi, Laolu Gbenjo, Zion Lady, and others who joined the wonderful and amazing New Seraph Choir to render God exalting songs at the event.
The traditional rulers were not left out of the action as they were there in there number to appreciate God for His mercies over their kingdom. They also led in songs of thanksgiving and received special prayers from Prophet Sam Ojo.
At the Night of Divine Experience were top leaders, ministers and members of the Church from the different branches and districts of the ministry. Among these were Baba Aladura Phillips Akinwande, Baba Aladura Adegbenro, Rev. Mother Toyin Okoh, Rev. Prophet Dubi Shodimu, Rev. Ap. Mother Foluke Kolade Oseni, and DBA Friday Ngbodi.
The Night of Divine Experience was held on Friday, 16th August, 2024, from 6.00pm till dawn had Good News with reference from Isaiah 61.1, as its theme for the year.
