Nigerians, most especially Christians have been told to wait for their promotion to come from God. This was a message by the General Overseer of The New Creature Evangelical Ministry, Rev. Dr. E.J. Oludayitan on the occasion of this year’s convention of the Church.

Looking into the theme of the convention, Exaltation From God taken from Jeremiah 52:31-33, Rev. Oludayitan reminded Christians that when one’s promotion comes from God, it would not only last long but comes with peace, joy and satisfaction.

Drawing his example from the freedom enjoyed by Jehoiachin, the king of Judah, the cleric noted that the released king received favour from his captor so much that the king of Babylon did not only speak kindly to him but also gave him a seat of honour higher than those of the other kings who were with him in Babylon, Rev. Oludayitan explained that Jehoiachin enjoyed his new freedom till the day of his death.

He therefore admonished all to always keep their hope in God who has all the power to promote and give wealth.

According to him, it is very unfortunate these days that most people are very impatient, they want to be rich quick, they start one thing and they want to reach the top almost immediately without knowing that God has his own time and season for everything.

“When God has made up His mind to give freedom, no man can stop it, when He chooses to promote nobody can stop it and when He chooses to bless no man can also stop it, but human beings are always in a hurry and that is why they run into problems when they cannot wait for God.”

Dr. Oludayitan was of the view that for the four days the convention would last that participants would be taught different ways by which God exalts His people and what to do to have and enjoy lasting exaltation from God.

Expected to minister at the convention are highly anointed men and women of God from within and outside the Church. These include Rev. Mrs. Oludayitan, Rev. Dr. J.A. Emmanuel, Rev. Dr. S. Lateef, Rev. Dr. S. Senu, Rev. Dr. J.O. Asorose, Rev. Dr. Elegbede, and Rev. Dr. J. Amosu.

The convention holds between Thursday 4th and Sunday 7th March, 2021 at the Church Camp, 1, New Creature Camp Ground, Km 44, Badagry Express way, Lagos State. The convention opens on Thursday at 3.00pm and closes on Sunday by 1.00pm.

Many exciting programmes have been lined up for the convention and these include undiluted worship, powerful praise, salvation message with sessions of deliverance, prayers and counselling with resultant joy, healing and lasting peace.

There are facilities for free feeding and accommodation for the participants that are expected from within and outside the Lagos headquarters of the Church.

The General Overseer used the advantage of the convention to advise political leaders and all that find themselves in various leadership positions to allow God to lead them, and that they should not make contest for leadership a do or die affair.

He also called on the federal government to allow peace and security to reign in the affairs of Nigeria. “I think it is the responsibility of the government to allow its people to live in peace and harmony. The state of insecurity in Nigeria where there is no more mutual understanding among Nigerians is not acceptable, and the government must do something about it before it is beyond their control.

The man of God also called for prayers that God should take control of the hearts of the leaders to know what is right and act accordingly.
