For a full week all living survivors and followers of Apostle Timothy Oluwole Obadare the renouned international preacher, revivalst and the founder of World Soul Winning Evangelical Ministry (WOSEM) would gather in the city of Akure in celebration of one of the legacies of the deceased man of God, it is the celebration of 50 years of a special All Purpose Prayer and Revival named Koseunti.The programme holds between Sunday January 26 and Saturday Feburary 1, 2020 in Akure, the captial of Ondo state. The programme begins with a city wide revival at the heart of the city Democracy Park from 4.30 pm each day. Expected to minister at the historic event are Apostle Paul Adenuga, Prophet P. F. Owa, Pastor Tioluwani aka Lesekese and Prophet Olayiwola aka Alabiyamo.
Others also expected include Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji the CAC General Evangelist, Prophet Keshinro, Prophets Taiwo and Kehinde aka Signs and Wonders, and Prophet Oguntunde and a host of others.The celebration according to the organisers would be a replica of what Apostle Timothy Obadare was known for in his life and ministry. “The celebration is going to be a harvest of miracles, signs and wonders and testimonies as in the days of our father Apostle T. O. Obadare of blessed memory,” promised Pastor Alabi, one of the able disciples of the late spiritual icon.The theme for the 50th celebration is The God of Our Fathers, and it is expected that there would be demonstration of the raw power of God as in the days of Apostle T.O. Obadare.
It would be recalled that the great meeting called Ipade Olorun Koseunti, inspired as by God through Apostle Obadare early 1970 so as to raise the confidence of believers about the immutable power of God and its potency.
Koseunti prayer meeting started in 1970 as a response to the needs of believers to renew their strong belief in the power of God. The prayer meeting according to sources close to the organisers started in 1970 as a result of a vision which Apostle Obadare had during a prayer and fasting session organised to close the year 1969.
In the vision God spoke to the late spiritual icon in a vision lamenting the vast number of dilemmas confronting many people in the world as many more people were afflicted by the devil with several problem defying human solutions.
Through the monthly prayer meeting God has used it to solve many mysterious problems and afflictions. It was widely known as a place where witches, wizards or any satanic agents would not dare as it has been on record of countless numbers of witches, wizards and elements of dark world were humbled and made open confessions to the glory of God, and the shame of the devil.
Hosting this special historic 50th anniversary celebration is the heir apparent and the senior son of the late spiritual father figure in person of Dr. Paul Obadare who is also the General Overseer of WOSEM the soul winning ministry established by Apostle T. O. Obadare.
Speaking at an interactive session with media representatives, Dr. Paul Obadare expressed the hope that participants would be widely drawn from all parts of the world, “from those who have benefitted from the ministry of our late father, we want to see those who need turn around to their situations in life, we need sinners to receive salvation, the oppressed to come and receive freedom, the sick to come and receive divine healing, the poor to come and receive divine blessings and the barren to come and be fruitful, just like the days of our fathers. According to the organisers, arrangements have already been made to host all categories of guests to be at the event.
All materials and sourvenirs to keep the memory of Apostle Obadare would be made available for participants to appreciate. A hall is already marked for dedication for godly events-named Apostle T. O. Obadare Hall.
Also expected to grace the occasion are members of Apostle Obadare’s immediate family, his living disciples and aides as well as all other beneficiaries of the life and ministry of the late soul winner and revivalist.
The week long event would be rounded off on Saturday February 1, 2020 from 10.am prompt at the Koseunti premises and auditorium opposite Oyemekun Grammar School in Akure Ondo State capital.
