■ When you are asking God for something, and you don’t get it on your own timing; do not give up.
- Continue to pray without losing heart.
- Luke 18:1.
● Reason: It Is Not Over, Until God says: “It’s Over.”
■ Consider Moses’ experience:
▪︎He said: “I pleaded with the Lord at that time, saying: ‘O Lord God… I pray, let me cross over and see the good land (Canaan)…”
● In response, God said to Moses: “Enough of that! Speak no more to Me of this matter.” - Deuteronomy 3:23-26
☆ Here, God says: “It Is Over!”
● Note: God is the Sovereign Lord. He has the final say. He does whatever He pleases. - Psalm 115:3; 135:6.
● Therefore, to keep our filial relationship with God, we must agree with Him, even when His decision does not favor us.
● For reason why God turned down Moses’ request, read: Numbers 20:7-12; Deuteronomy 3:26; 27:14.
● Bottom line: in any situation we find ourselves; God’s decision is for our good, and for His glory!!!
