Among the list of his achievements mentioned was that Isale Aboru is no more regarded as a community in one obscure area of Lagos State, as the community has enjoyed a good mention of supports from the media in his first term.

“We can say now that Isale Aboru has been brought to limelight, it is no more regarded as an unknown community in Lagos. Through the efforts of the members of the community, we have brought Isale Aboru to the notice of those that matter at local, state and federal levels.”

“Today, we can thank the State government for clearing our canal, though as a temporary measure, as we expect the government to expedite action on the promised erection of concrete along the canal route from Akinola to Command Road.

“In this our modest first term, we can also boast of fixing Taju Salami Culvert leading to other areas of the canal, we joined other neighbouring community to fix one of our transformers that has been lying idle for more than ten years, during Covid-19 pandemic, we joined hands to buy palliatives for the residents. God also used us to bring a Faith based group to come and share relief materials for the members of the community.

“We can say the community is more united than before, with improved social interactions among resident, as we look up towards a more united and progressive development oriented community in the nearest future.”

He also called on Lagos State government to help the community to link up Oke Sagun and Aboru Communities.

“We have heard that the government is coming to link the two communities. They will build road from Command Road, Oke Sagun to link Giwa Bridge through Taju Salami Unity road. We are expecting government to begin work very soon. The benefits are very enormous as it will be a short cut to Iyana Ipaja through Command Road.”

In his own remarks, the representative of the LCDA, Mr. Muri Anjorin congratulated the new executives and told them to encourage the youth and women to be part of the future executives.
