The quiet town of Ikeji Ile went agog last weekend between Thursday 9th and Friday 10th July, 2020 as the remains of Deaconess Alice Osigbaore Bankole were committed to mother earth.

Deaconess Bankole died at the ripe age of 95 years. The burial ceremonies were held modestly taking cognisance of the prevailing partial lockdown occasioned by the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The burial featured Christian wake- keep and final burial at her residence and funeral service at The Apostolic Church, Oke Ira, Ikeji-Ile Ijesa, in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State.

The ceremony was attended by close families, friends and well-wishers in controllable measures. The deceased was survived by children, grand children, great grand children as well as sons and daughters-in-laws, brothers and sisters.
