For all members of Ijesa North-East Diocese, the Anglican Communion Church of Nigeria, all roads lead to Ikeji Ile, the City on the mountain, as they holds the 3rd Session of the 5th Synod, of the diocese.
The Synod which is the highest gathering of the diocese holds from Saturday 6th to Sunday 7th July, 2024 with the theme Disciple Making, The Mandate of the Church.
According to the official source of the diocese, the synod will be declared open on Saturday, 6th July, 2024 at 7.30 am, and will be concluded with thanksgiving Service on Sunday 7th July, 2024 at 10.00am.
The Synod which is expected to draw participants from the different archdeaconry within the diocese holds at St. Jude’s Anglican Church, Ikeji Ile, Ijesa Osun State. Members will be expected from Ipetu Ijesa, Ikeji Ile, Ikeji Arakeji and Owena, and other towns and villages under the diocese.
The Synod will be presided over by the Diocesan, Rt. Revd. Joseph A. F. Olusola PhD, and he will be assisted by other clerics and senior ministers in the diocese which has Ven. Muyiwa Edun, as the Synod Clerical Secretary.
