Fortunes have smiled on a young and enterprising fish pie seller, Alax Evalsam as it has pleased God through the Social Media to shoot him to limelight and bless him.
In effect, Alax Evalsam has become the latest celebrity in Nigeria and now a fast-rising social media personality. He has been in the news over the last few days after his fish pie chanting sales strategy paid off. He was known for selling his fish pie with a unique voice and intonation, the video of which went viral and made him acceptable to the public.
Days after his video went viral on TikTok, more of his clips have been churned out making him more popular among celebrities and the members of the public alike. He has become the darling of many social media users, with reports of good will coming from different quarters to give him hands of supports.
Responses were said to have been coming from the likes of celebrities like the Nigerian singer Davido who acknowledge his zeal and the creativity he put in selling his fish pie as he promised to give him three million naira which he is yet to release to the lucky man.
Sharing his story on his Social Media handle, the Cross Rivers State born talented singer, who was living in a crowded plank slum house before luck smiled on him, has responded that his story was that of grass to grace.
He shared the story of how he lost his father to a very serious sickness in his early life and how he was tortured by relatives on flimsy and phantom stories of accusing him to be a witch tormenting his uncle’s wife, the rejection by family which has taken him to the street for serious hustling.
His new found fortune has led to the likes of King Mitchy a renowned social media content producer to find him out and follow it with a story which led to his being invited by the prestigious Eko Hotel Managers.
In a viral interview, the new social media sensation, Alax Evalsam took the interviewer to the woodshed where he lives. He noted that since his stories went viral, he had not received any financial support or help from anybody, including music star Davido. The fish pie man also revealed that when he heard Davido wanted to give him money, he looked forward to it because he had always wanted someone to come through and help him, but nothing came through Davido.
Hours after Alax Evalsam’s interview went viral, a new clip of him being invited to perform at the famous Eko Hotel also went viral. In the clip, the fish pie man performed different songs, serenading the hotel guests with his beautiful voice. Nigerian philanthropist King Mitchy also reported that Alax Evalsam signed a contract with Eko Hotel.
Chinonso Jennifer Eleanya, aka Nons Miraj, another online content provider has extended her kind hearted support for Alax after she paid a visit to him. She has not only rented a well-furnished apartment for the trending fish pie seller, but has also clothed him with expensive wears and empowered him. She took him out for shopping, bought him some food stuffs plus N200k cash, and moved him to a well-furnished new apartment.
Alax and his sonorous voice
Alax Evalsam has become very popular with the way he chants the sale, promotion and sale of his fish pie with sonorous voice in advertising his business in the streets. Alax hawks his fish pie in containers he carries on his head, where his marketing strategy stands him out. The sound he made attracted the attention of a netizen who captured him in a video and posted it on TikTok.
The man used a sonorous voice to advertise the meat pie in such a way that he attracted people’s attention. His voice and the way he uses it to shout in a singsong manner made it hard for those around to resist his meat pie. He shouts ‘Fish pieeeeeeeeee………Na waa o, Some people they too do o’.
Eko Hotel
Alax Evalsam’s passion for his works has taken him from grass to grace as he has been invited by the managers of Eko Hotel to put pen on paper for a two-year deal as one of the ambassadors of the renowned Hotel. Hours after Alax Evalsam’s interview went viral, a new clip of him being invited to perform at the famous Eko Hotel also went viral. In the clip, the fish pie man performed different songs, serenading the hotel guests with his beautiful voice.
The deal comes with an apartment, car and millions of naira. This deal was brokered through the powerful king maker, King Mitchy, whose interview of him got the attention of the iconic Eko Hotel.
