Prophet/Pastor Isaiah Olufayobi Ogunbomehin, was the founder of CAC Mount of Grace and Joy Church, (Oke Ayo), 14 Saratu, Street, off Pero-Bus stop, Agege Lagos. He was the man God used to open up and found the now famous CAC Miracle Camp, Ikeji Arakeji Ijesa in Osun State of Nigeria, the place one of the founding fathers and the first Evangelist, Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola received his call and started his ministry.
He was born on November 17, and every November has been dedicated to commemorate his birthday. This year he would have been 85 years. The family has continued with a tradition that started in 1977 to always mark the birthday of the spiritual icon with crusades and empowerment for the less privileged.
In the mood of celebration of the 85th Post humous birthday and 5th year remembrance of the glorification of the man of great impact and success in God’s given vision and purpose, a Music concert, revival and thanksgiving service would be held in his honour.
The activities for the yearly celebration of this spiritual icon would be rounded off with a thanksgiving service on a life well spent on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
Prophet Ogunbomehin is noted for his contribution to the development of Nigeria in his own way with the thousands of people making their daily bread in IKEJI ARAKEJI today, a town which was unknown when this man of God carried a unique evangelism from Lagos into a thick bush in 1989, without taking offering.
Records have it that God told him specifically not to take money or receive donation for the project. He was doing it without a personal building of his own anywhere till his demise.
IKEJI ARAKEJI town, now has a university JABU, and Camp for Christ Apostolic Church, located on that former thick bush, all bringing change in the lives of the people in this rural area of Nigeria, turning gradually into a near-city community.
“As instructed by God in 1977, we have continued the legacy of Birthday Mercy Revival on his birth date, and God has been faithful with awesome testimonies like when he was alive,” the organisers explained.
Hosting is Pastor Oluseyi Ogunbomehin, and other members of the family.
