For the Woman of Gospel Song, Evangelist Dr. Mrs Dunni Olanrewaju, the one and the only popularly called Opelope Anointing, all is ready for the celebration of her three scores on the surface of the earth. By the grace of God she will turn 60 solid years on Wednesday December 2, 2020, and she would stop at nothing to giver her a befitting celebration.
According to the celebrant the one-day event is a three prong activities featuring thanksgiving service, classy reception and a Special birthday Praise Tribute featuring foremost gospel singers from far and wide.
The day opens as dignitaries, special guests, fans, fellow ministers, friends and well wishers are expected to converge at the heart of Ikeja on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 10 am in a grand celebration at The Chapel of Christ The Light featuring thanksgiving and reception at the same premises.
Expected as distinguished guests of the day are the Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu as the Distinguished Father of The Day, and the former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Chief Mrs. Grace Titi Laoye Tomori-Ponle as the Guest of Honour.
Other distinguished persons expected at the event are Prince Bisi Olatilo as the Chairman of the Day, and Rev. Mrs. Grace Aiyedogbon as the Chairperson of the day. The wife of the former Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Abimbola Fashola is the distinguished Mother of the day, with Ambassador Yemi Farounbi and Evang. Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi as Fathers of the day.
Expected as Royal Fathers of the day are Oba Adebayo Adewale, Ajero of Ijero Kingdom, Oba Adesegun Bolaji Akinwande, the Elemunren of Emunren, Ogun State, Oba Sunday Ekundayo, the Oluroye of Iroko Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Other distinguished guests are Rt. Hon. Titi Oseni, Otunba Muyiwa Ibewa, Rev. Mrs. Edith Okubanjo, Chief Mrs Atinuke Abioro, Very Rev,. Ayo Olu, the Presiding Chaplain of the Chapel, Very Rev. Adebukola Adeleke, Special Assistant to the Lagos Governor on Christian Religion as Pastor Akinola Fasawe is the Special Guest Speaker of the day.
The celebration train later moves to Idimu, the celebrant’s catchment area later in the day as about 60 gospel singers would assemble in a night of Praise Tribute to the woman who has thoroughly paid her dues in the world of gospel music.
In the list of those expected to lead in worshipping God in music are Dr. Bola Are, Pastor Joseph Adelakun, Ayewa, Evangelist Ojo Ade, Apostle Timi Orokoya and Evang. Tope Alabi, with several others for the tribute Night.
The programme holds at St. Anthony Events Hall, by 56, Liasu Road, Opposite St. Francis Catholic Church, off Council Bus Stop, by Egbe Idimu, Link Road, Lagos. The programme starts at 5pm.
The organisers have therefore requested participants and well wishers to pick their T-Shirts and caps for a token of N5,000 only.
