Dr. Abiodun Badewa, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Vicinity 95.3FM, a rising prominent radio station based on the mountain top of Ikeji Ile Ijesa in Osun State has assured them of better packages and outings in 2025.
Dr. Badewa made this assurance in his message of good will to his staff, as well as listeners of the radio station on the occasion of the celebration of the Year 2025.
In a message titled Happy New Year to all Members of Vicinity Media, the media magnate writing from his United States of America base thanked all the staff of the radio station for their commitments and resilience for projecting the aims and objectives of Vicinity Media in its first seven months of its existence.
Vicinity FM joined the airwaves in May 2024, and since has been riding and flying high making increased impacts in the life of the host communities and its neighbours.
He wrote, “Here comes my sincere appreciation for all your hard work of the past seven months. The commitments of every one of you have been unparalleled. Though the challenges have been enormous, the dedication of every staff has contributed in no small measure to the success of our dear station thus far. It is sincerely appreciated.
“I pray for continued peace in this our family, blessings and promotions for every member on our individual endeavours, divine protection over all, and prosperity and pleasant surprises in Jesus name. As we welcome 2025, let us embrace this New Year with enthusiasm and a shared vision for growth.”
The medical doctor turned media mogul also extended his New Year greetings to all the listeners spread across the South West, other parts of Nigeria and the entire globe.
He wrote, “I sincerely appreciate all our listeners all over the world. The contributions of our local listeners in the past seven months are immeasurable. I specifically thank our regular callers from Ikeji-Ile, Ikeji-Arakeji, Ipetu-Ijesha, Owena, Ilesa, Ondo State, Ekiti State, Osun State, Kwara State and even from Ogun, Oyo and Lagos States. Our international listeners are well appreciated.”
It is instructive to know that Vicinity Radio is not only listened to in the host communities and Osun State but it widely covers areas in the neighbouring Ekiti, Ondo, Oyo, and as far as Ogun, Kwara, Lagos States. Vicinity 95.3 FM has also been fast gaining listenership in other parts of the world as a multi-media broadcasting station. It is available online, through its website and its Social media handles.
“We also thank immensely our partners. You are the reason for our success. I pray that our God will meet every one of you at the points of your needs,” adding that “We look forward to an even more positive, productive and promising 2025. May the Lord help us journey through the year successfully in Jesus name.”

Continuing, she described Dr. Badewa and his wife Bisi, “You are two of a kind – indeed, a special breed with milk of kindness running in your veins. I pray that both of you and all yours continue to enjoy unending joy, mercy , favour and grace of God. May the bounties of year 2025 be yours and all yours. Wishing you a happy and prosperous 2025.”

The Olura of Ira Ikeji ile, Oba Oluropo Fatanmi also in his commendation prayed for Dr. Badewa and all stake holders of Vicinity FM for better opportunities and achievements in 2025 and beyond.
