Members of the Deborah Generation Women’s Ministry gathered from all walks of life last December 2023 to thank God for another year of the ministry.

The event took place on Friday 29th December, 2023 at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Strong Tower, 4, Faluyi Close, Gudugba area of Iju Ishaga, Lagos State.

The women came from different parts of Nigeria, some from Abuja, Akure, Oyo, Ogun, while others also came as far as Edo, Ondo and Kwara States.

Deborah Generation is Women’s prayer fellowship ministry where women as mothers, wives and daughters are empowered physically and spiritually to pray and work for the wellbeing of their families.

It was a day of praise, prayer and sharing of the word of God.

Pastor Emmanuel Musa, hosting the event in the Church expressed his appreciation to the United Kingdom based founder Pastor Mrs. Florence Olubunmi Adegunna who has been using the knowledge, wisdom and resources God gave to her to pilot the affairs of the women’s group.

He admonished the group for their courage, prayer life, consistency, efforts and resilience in a time like this to have raised women to come up as pillar of supports for their husbands.

He prayed that God will keep and energise them, as well as supply their needs to meet the expectations of their homes families, and humanity in general.

The members were also there in their number to testify of what the Lord has done in their lives in the first four years of the ministry.

Some testified to how the Lord had used the fellowship to meet their needs physically and spiritually, in counseling and offering advice to them on how to manage their lives and homes mostly in their moments of needs.

The group according to the members is divided to different departments for administrative convenience. Among these groups are Evangelism, Family, Choir, Visitation, Medical, Media, Welfare and Prayer units.

In her welcome address Mrs. Mosunmola Olatunbosun standing in for the International President, Pastor (Mrs) Florence Adegunna, thanked God on behalf of the fellowship for the journey of four years, noting that the group came into existence in January, 2020, and the group has had great and wonderful impacts and testimonies in the lives and homes of the members.

“So far we have had 162 members cutting across all the states of Nigeria including Abuja where some of the participants came from.”

Other centres are located in Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo and Osun States, with the visioner and President based in the United Kingdom.

She continued, “We thank God none of our members is missing, no death, our home is lovely and peaceful, and God has been answering our prayers expressly. Our stories have been from glory to glory.”

The service also featured variety shows and presentation of reports by the different units and departments, as well as from the children.

Other members who share personal testimonies told PTL News how God used Deborah Generation Women’s Fellowship for them.

Mrs. IfeOluwa Babayemi testified that her mother was a member of Deborah Generation before she joined. She appreciated God for the prayers offered by the women for her and how God has used them during her life challenges. She also testified to how God gave her a husband and she had a blissful and successful marriage.

Mrs. Oluwayemisi Akinwande also testified to how she met Mrs. Adegunna in London, and how helpful she had been, and through the fellowship God has developed her spiritual life. She also mentioned how members of the ministry have been helpful to another.

Mrs. Oluwatoyin Adenola thanked God for the visioner and what God has done in the lives of the members and the group.

“We can see the glory of God, love, prayer life in Deborah Generation. We have proved ourselves as a bible believing women’s organization. It has helped women in building their homes, and several others have been empowered.”

The women left the place with great joy and satisfaction that they came to unite before the Lord in the hope that better days were ahead.

In a remark, Pastor Julius Adegunna, the Publisher of PTL News congratulated and commended the visioner and the members, as he advised them to continue to work in unity, to make sure that the ministry was well established in all parts of the world.

The Deborah Generation Women’s Ministry is an international Women’s prayer group that are raised for the well-being of women, ladies, families, husbands and wives, and they keep and strengthen themselves with prayers, word of God, counseling as well as in caring physically, materially and financially. They meet physically in groups and virtually online. It is open to all women that believe in their purpose and objectives.
