It’s congratulations all the way for the family of Dr. Daniel Olukoya the Founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries as they bag various accolades and awards.
The first came as the General Overseer and his amiable wife Shade celebrated their birthday on July 15, 2024.
The second came when the Mountain Top Chorale won gold at the global annual World Choir Games, and it was crowned with American Presidential Life Achievement Award which was presented on Sunday July 21, 2024 at Houston Texas, in the United States of America.
The American Presidential Life Achievement Award of Honour was presented by an official representative of President Joe Biden at the ministry’s America headquarters in Houston, Texas on Sunday.
It was said to be in recognition of the ministry’s valuable contributions to communities in the US and “countless hours, days, moments, and years spent in changing the lives of others.”
This was shown in a video shared on Dr. Olukoya’s official YouTube page with a caption that read, “A big congratulations to our spiritual parents on their incredible success.
“Today in Houston, Texas, our parents were awarded the Presidential Achievement Award from the United States President, Joe Biden,” read the statement.
The award of honor was presented by the official representative of President Biden for the impact of his life and ministry in changing lives of others. Biden stated that they recognized the lifetime achievement of the church and the founder as regards community service.
In his official statement from the white House to Dr. Olukoya he stated that the American story doesn’t depend on one of us or some of us but on all of us. He congratulated Dr. Olukoya and his wife for their contribution to the American society and is delighted to present them with President’s Lifetime Achievement Awards in recognition of 45,000 hours of service to the USA. He stated that “his passion and service has helped in providing solutions to challenges facing the society. Therefore, America is counting on you,” says Biden in his written speech.
The cheerful shout of congratulations was also extended to the Mountain Top Chorale who won two gold medals, as they joined over 11,000 singers from more than 30 countries of the world meeting in Auckland, New Zealand for the largest choral competition, the 2024 World Choir Games, representing Nigeria.
They competed and won a gold medal in Category C19 – Contemporary Music Mixed Voices. Their performance featured “Ekiti Medley,” composed by Dr. Daniel Olukoya himself and arranged by Seun Owoaje, a medley of warfare and battle-ready songs designed to invigorate the spirit man, and a host of other compositions.
“If only people can know that singing to God is more than just looking for fancy songs to sing. Most of the songs people call old school and outdated are the ones that carry the presence of God the most,” observed a member in a comment.

It’s fantastic to see the MFM Mountain Top Chorale compete in the category. The C22 – Spiritual earned them 83.38 points, awarding a gold medal.

Above all, the excited Dr. Olukoya, responding to torrents of congratulatory messages on the occasion of their birthday wrote on his social media handle, “On behalf of my wonderful wife and myself, we say a big thank you for the prayers, voice notes, videos, unending goodwill messages from different part of the world and various messages cutting across social media platforms, adding that “Our phones are yet to recover from the influx of calls and messages.”
