It was celebration galore at Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Iyanu, Olorunsogo, Aboru between Monday October 8, and Sunday October 15, 2023 as they celebrate one year of the passing into the glory of their founder and District Superintendent, Pastor Daniel Atilade Adegeebo and his wife, Elizabeth Titilayo, and the 30 years existence of the church.

The celebration featured a week long revival featuring different ministers of God from within and outside the Church, music ministers and gospel artistes as well as pastors and members from the different branches of the church.

The celebration had in attendance the likes of Pastor Rufus Akorewolu of CAC Afinimona District, Pastor Sunday Adegeebo aka Akasu Adura, Pastor Peter Oniwinde, Pastor Akinsanya, Pastor Adepoju, Pastor Kay.

Speaking with PTL News in a separate interview the leaders of the church spoke about some of the sterling achievements recorded in the past one year of the Church, noting the peace, unity and progress of the Church.

At the thanksgiving services organised on Saturday and Sunday, featuring the launching of a New Year 2024 Calendar, members and pastors of the Church were charged to look forward and chart a new cause to build on the enviable foundation laid by Pastor and Evangelist Mrs. Adegeebo.

The minister in charge and the son of the Founder, Pastor Oluwadare Adegeebo later in a chart with PTL News appreciated the leaders of the church for their united action and support for the family of the Adegeebos, praying that God would continue to reward them for their labour of love.

He said in the coming years, the Church shall endeavour to plant more branches and win souls to the kingdom of God through the Church.

The 30th Anniversary celebration kicked off on Sunday 8th October with the Sunday Service between 9.00 and 11.30 am. It continued with revival from Monday 9th to Friday 13th October, 2023.

The celebration was held on Saturday 14th October, and was rounded off with thanksgiving on Sunday 15th October.

The celebration also featured a special Medical Sunday on 22nd October 2023 between 9.00 and 11.30 am.

All programmes were held within the Church premises 64/66, Tokunbo Oliyide Street, Aboru, Off Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos State.
