The late Christian leader when alive was a trained Accountant by profession. He was appointed as the Chairman of Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, in September 2015. He was thereafter introduced to The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Ilorin in April 1980 two months after his conversion. He was ordained as a minister of the gospel in 1986 and served for 18 years as an Area Pastor in the Ikeja Family of the Church.

Meanwhile, Christians across denominations have been paying tributes to the fallen Christian leader.

In a statement by Rev. Solomon Adegbolagun, The president of Centre For Righteous Living, and his predecessor as the Chairman of Lagos State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Bishop Ore’s demise was seen as the departure of God’s own Combatant General called home when the ovation is loudest.

“Sleep on soundly. You have fought a good fight, you have finished your race and you have kept the faith,” wrote Rev. Adegbolagun as he prayed that God would assuredly keep all he left behind, and “May the Holy Spirit comfort his family.

Bishop Sola Ore would be missed as a man of the word, very amiable, jovial, and loving with good leadership qualities.

He is survived by his wife, Rev. Mrs. Yemi Ore, children and grandchildren.
