Minnesota Church Ministries Association, a Christian ministers’ association with headquarters in the United States of America is ready to celebrate its 20 years in Nigeria.

The celebration holds between Thursday 2nd and Saturday 4th November 2023.

The celebration according to organisers will be featuring their usual Ministers and Workers’ Conference, and the inauguration of new executives as well as retirement ceremony for the out going National Director, Rev. Maurice Adaramodu.

The celebration will be having its founder and World Executive Director, Bishop Timothy A. Johnson, coming all the way from the United States of America, physically present.

According to an information made available to PTL News, Ministers’ Conference with the theme More Than Conqueror, Serving With Overcoming Confidence will hold on Thursday and Friday from 9.00am while the retirement service and inauguration of the New Director holds on Saturday 4th November, 2023 at 9.00am.

Speaking in a chat with PTL News, the South West Director and Assistant National Director, Rev. Solomon Akinremi said the conference would be having in attendance members from the South Western part of Nigeria, as members would be attending from Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and Ekiti States.

It will be an event to celebrate our out going National Director, Rev. Maurice Adaramodu and the inauguration of another executive to be led by Archbishop Benjamin Kurudu. We are also expecting delegates from about the 14 states where we have our members in Nigeria.

According to the incoming Deputy National Director, Minnesota Church Ministeries Association is a body of Christian ministers raised for the promotion of excellence and integrity in the ministry, helping Churches to make impacts, and building confident leaders and teachers within the Church and ministries.

He extolled the contributions of Rev. Adaramodu as the National Director of the association, noting that he has been able to take the ministry to 14 viable states.

He acknowledged some of the associations’ programmes that are developed to empower minsters of God. One of them is   called Continue Education Certification Programme where ministers are enlisted to study to help ministers and leaders in their ministries.

“Some of the materials shared include NIV Study Bible for members, the association also engages in counseling of members as well as exchange of programmes between the African and American members. We build and exchange relationships, we are trained in sound doctrine, it has helped us to sustain our relationship in ministry

“Unlike many other associations that promise and fail, MCMA doesn’t do that. They give us conference materials to help us fulfill our missions, they give us books, CDs and certificates after our conferences. They also invite us to their international conferences and programmes and some of our members have also visited them in the US. When you go they give you free accommodation and feeding. Such an association doing all these free of charge is not common.”

With all these, it is very important to know that the association sponsors its members without imposing any burden on the African members.

The South West Coordinator also took this advantage “to invite other ministers across various Church denominations to join us to come and be part of these benefits. MCMA is very unique. They are lowly known here all because we make no noise about their programmes.”

Rev. Akinremi also attested to the commitment and leadership qualities of the World Executive Director, Bishop Timothy Johnson.

“He is a man of God with honour and integrity of the word of God. He is very simple, understanding, a tenacious minister that refuses to give up,” recalling a time when he was involved in a ship wreck, “he was never discouraged but even made him stronger by coming every year. He is a visionary leader with sound balance doctrine.”

On what they have in stock for the participants at the anniversary conference, the new Deputy National Director said, the conference would be loaded like others before it.

“We expect our resource persons to teach on the theme of the conference. We expect to learn more about the theme More than Conqueror, Serving With Overcoming Confidence. We expect to be strengthened with the knowledge obtained and go back to make the difference in our life and ministries, and go back to serve God with confidence.

“We also have accommodation and feeding for those coming from outside Lagos, while we expect Lagosians to come from home for the three days. We also want participants to register early enough to prepare us to make the materials available to them, and be distributed on first come first served.”

Expected at the conference are Prophet Taiwo Emmanuel, the Ogun Sate Director, Pastor Peter Nwaege, Oyo State Director, Pastor Stephen Oladejo, Ekiti State Director, Rev. Solomon Akinremi, South West Director and Assistant National Director, Rev. Maurice Adaramodu, outgoing National Director, Rev. Natt. E. Miller, Associate Director, and Bishop Timothy Johnson, the World Executive director, MCMA.

The three day conference holds at the Universal Evangelical Church, Tabernacle of Praise, 105, Agbe Road, Abule Egba, Lagos.
