Glory be to God for counting me and you worthy of surviving year 2020 and victoriously entering year 2021.

Without any doubt, 2020 was a year which many people all over the world would not forget in a hurry.

It was a year full of fears and anxieties, where diseases and death reigned supreme but by God’s mercy we were not consumed. Only the living can praise the Lord. That is why we, as survivors of 2020 have no reason but to appreciate God for counting us worthy of to live to tell the story.

We are already in 2021, and in the spirit and practice of the season, many people want to know what would likely happen in the New Year. In effect, our pastors and prophets are also prepared to tell us what is contained in the mind of God for the year.

In doing this, it has been discovered that many Pastors, and men and women of God are already dishing out messages to those who care to hear from them.

Prophecy is desirable in the life of the people that know God and fear Him, and it is one of the gifts of the spirit. The Bible says where there is no vision, the people perish, Proverbs 29:18. It is therefore not out of place to wait from the anointed of God for this time and season.

It has also been observed that charlatans and opportunists have taken over the scene telling people with itchy ears what they want to know and what they want to hear.

It is therefore no surprise that many of those prophecies are subject of mere calculations and speculations of those characters to play to the gallery and merely belong.

That is why our society is replete with various men and women who claim to be pastors and seers, and so many unsuspecting victims have fallen into their hands.

Back to the subject at hand, 2021, Prophecies and the Nigerian State; the prophecies have been coming, and most of these our prophets are familiar faces. They have been prophesying, they prophesied last year and they are still prophesying this year.

Another feature of the so called prophets is that they go on roof tops through all media of communication to broadcast what are supposed to be close and personal secrets, especially on the ones that affect the country and those in government.

How do you see a pastor shouting to all that care that a president would die and a vice would take his position?

Even when God had made up His mind to depose Saul, it took a secret plan between God and Samuel to anoint David which did not become a public knowledge until the transition of Saul.

I think some of these childish prophets need to be warned to be careful of how they reveal their dreams lest they cause confusion to an already fragile political environment.

One measure to take a true prophet serious is to know what happened to his past prophecies. The Bible speaks expressly about true and fake prophets.

The Lord said through Prophet Jeremiah,

“I have heard what the prophets say who prophesy lies in my name. They say, ‘I had a dream! I had a dream!’ 26 How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets, who prophesy the delusions of their own minds? 27 They think the dreams they tell one another will make my people forget my name. Jeremiah 23: 25-27.

However, there is nothing bad in knowing the mind of God, and we cannot say there are no prophets in the land.

But  Let the prophet who has a dream recount the dream, but let the one who has my word speak it faithfully. v28, said the Lord.

The experience of the year 2020 where coronavirus ravaged the whole world without any of our prophets forseeing it leaves much bitter taste in one’s mouth. It was no surprise when many of them were not only silenced but humiliated through several draconian Covid -19 protocols across the world. Even if we had known there would be very little we could have done but to put our fate in the hand of our creator.

As things are now, all those who know their God should be close to Him and remain so, so that they would not be confused.

The word of God and prayers remain our weapon and link to the all knowing God, and if we are very fervent in our prayers, and very intimate to our God, we will not only hear from Him but He will deliver to us His good treasures. If we can pray God will be available to hear our prayers.

Of course, we will surely make available to you our esteemed readers some of these prophecies and predictions. The choice is yours to decide what you do with them, but we encourage you to receive what is good for you and reject what you believe is not meant for you.
